Get started now by taking this short quiz to see what the best option for you is. Want to skip the quiz and read about all of our different services? No problem, read on!

The Right Start

Get all the information you need to get started with your new puppy to ensure you end up with a wonderful adult dog. We’ll go over house-training, chewing, digging, getting used to crates, leashes, collars, and more. Learn to avoid common puppy problems before they start. A MUST for every new puppy owner. The Right Start is a consultation in your home that lasts up to 2 hours. The fee is $160 and includes a specially chosen toy to help puppies chew appropriately. Puppies must be between 7-16 weeks for the Right Start.

Obedience Coaching Lessons

You feel like you have the basics down with your dog, but want to learn some certain skills. Things like walking nicely on a leash, not jumping on visitors, not barking and coming when called are all examples of things to work on in obedience lessons. Lessons are in your home and last for 45-60 minutes. The fee is $65. Most solid obedience requires several lessons so for new skill sets, sign up for a package to get a discount!

Day Training

Day training is the ultimate option for achieving high levels of training reliability. Elise will come to your home 4 times a week to train your dog on the skills you choose. Over a course of three weeks, Elise will come to your house for 13 lessons, 4 of which include you and your family (in order to transition the information over to you for continued maintenance). The first meeting is with you, lasting 1 1/2 hours. The following 12 lessons are 45-60 minutes where Elise works independently with the dog. Ready to get started? Pick the commands you want to teach your dog now! The fee for a Day Training package is $975.

Forever Home

Has a dog recently found a new forever home with you? Whether from a shelter, friend or a breeder, transitioning an older dog into a new home can come with many challenges. The Forever Home service is up to 2 hours of consultation in your home, customized to address the specific issues you are confronting as you and your new canine companion get to know one another. Ensure success by doing things right from the start. The fee is $175, dogs can be any age and should have been in your home less than one month.

Canine Concerns (Behavior Consultation)

Are you struggling with canine concerns, problems with your dog that you aren’t sure how to handle? Then a behavior consultation is exactly where you need to start. All you need to do is choose a time that works for a two hour, in-home consultation. At that point, you’ll be prompted to complete a questionnaire to give us more the information needed to work with your specific concerns. The consultation will provide you with a comprehensive behavior modification plan, complete with private video links, hand-out’s, and custom recommendations. The fee is $175.

Not sure if this is the right service for you? Some examples of consultation topics are house-soiling, barking at strangers, barking at other dogs or cars on walks, being frightened of people, chasing the cat, anxiety, compulsive behavior like chasing shadows… and these are just a few.

Consultation Follow-ups

For folks working hard on their behavior modification plan, follow-up’s are the hands-on meetings you will need to stay on track and reach your goals.  Follow-up’s last up to an hour and are $80.

Phone Behavior Consultation

Behavior consultations are for pet owners that have a specific issue or concern regarding their pet. Whether it is a cat urinating everywhere except the litter box or a dog lunging at other dogs on a walk, the behavior consultation is the right place to begin. After completing a comprehensive assessment, a phone conversation takes place to go over history and details. Afterwards, a summary of the call is sent to the clients. A behavior consultation provides the owners with an
understanding of the issue and what is involved in helping the pet. With the proper information, the family can make an educated decision about how they want to proceed. I provide several different options with explanations about how each path will impact the family and pet in terms of time, cost, and change (as in, how much the family will have to change their life in order to see the behavior of the pet improve). After the client has the opportunity to review the options, a second
phone call takes place to go over the how-to’s of implementing the plan and to answer any questions. Behavior consultations are supportive and nonjudgmental meetings. Phone meetings are one hour and the fee is $125.
